OIS is committed to our customers' success. We have developed a variety of On-site Mentoring and Consulting Services providing focused development assistance, helping to ensure the success of your development effort. All mentoring activities are designed to transfer OIS content knowledge to the customer enabling you to meet or exceed your deadline requirements.

We offer varying levels of assistance, designed to meet any of your support needs. From a short 2-day on site support engagement, to a longer-term scenario, we provide the type of extended support you need to facilitate your project's success.

Mentoring and Consulting

Quick Install
2 Days On-site Support for Installation
To speed your team's progress with your new Objective Interface software, this 2-day Mentoring service will set up and install all Objective Interface software. The Objective Interface Mentor will guide you through a complete installation of the software product on your system. The Mentor will be available for any questions regarding the product during installation. This service can be utilized for a purchased product or one that has been acquired for evaluation purposes.



Quick Start Mentoring
2 Weeks (10 Days) of On-site Mentoring
Looking to have your project team hit the ground running? An Objective Interface expert will ensure that your project gets off to a fast start. Our Mentor will assist your team in analyzing your system domain and will provide recommendations and discuss the trade-offs of the many software design approaches available.



Quick Review Mentoring
3 Days On-site Mentoring
Finding your project's progress slowing down? Is your team spending much of the day debating their many software options rather than building software? If so, the 3-day Quick Review is the ideal solution for your ongoing project. If some of your project objectives are not being fulfilled, our Mentor will provide recommendations so that you can get your project back on course.



Mentoring Plus
Three Long Term Mentoring scenarios: 25 days, 75 days, and 125 days

Looking for longer on-site support? The Mentoring Plus service is designed to provide a longer-term investment for the professional and technical development of your idistributed systems staff. In working with the Objective Interface Mentor, your staff will become aware of the issues and techniques involved in designing, developing, and maintaining distributed systems.

This is a great aid for a team that doesn't have much distributed, client/server or object oriented or security experience to build corporate expertise. And of course, these mentoring days can be used in smaller chunks over the mentoring term or used continuously.



Flex Consulting
Combining On-site, Phone, Fax, E-mail & Internet Consulting

Want to maximize your benefits and response time while minimizing costs? Flex Mentoring provides a flexible mix of Consulting and Mentoring support. Objective Interface's mentors can assist your projects in a variety of ways: Analyzing your system domain, producing correct designs, providing recommendations on software development approaches, or guiding the team through Objective Interface product installation and usage.

Depending on the issue, our Mentors use the most effective mix of support techniques:

  • E-mail or Fax for simple questions and answers
  • Phone and conference calls to provide immediate feedback or to support an extended exchange of information
  • Use of Internet based tools for collaborative work, file transfer, or information exchange
  • If needed, on-site visits, working side-by-side with the project team

Flex Mentoring is purchased in blocks of consulting time and clients are billed for its use in 1/2 hour increments. Because of the expectation of less on-site time than with our Mentoring services, the cost of the consulting service is lower. For every 40 hours of Consulting Services purchased, up to 8 hours may be used for one on-site visit.



Remote Consulting
Phone, Fax, E-mail & Internet Consulting Only

Similar to Flex Mentoring, Remote Mentoring maximizes your benefits and response time while minimizing costs. Remote Mentoring provides a flexible mix of remote Consulting support alternatives. Depending on the issue, the Mentors use the most effective mix of support techniques:

  • E-mail or Fax for simple questions and answers
  • Phone and conference calls to provide immediate feedback or to support an extended exchange of information
  • Use of Internet based tools for collaborative work, file transfer, or information exchange

The on-site Mentoring option is eliminated under the Remote Mentoring option. Remote Mentoring services can be purchased in blocks of consulting time, and clients are billed for its use in 1/2 hour increments.
