Objective Interface Systems and SYSGO Announce Technology Alliance

KLEIN-WINTERNHEIM, GERMANY and HERNDON, VA — July 18, 2007 — Objective Interface Systems, Inc. (OIS), the worldwide leader in high-performance, real-time and embedded communications middleware solutions, and SYSGO AG, a global supplier of highly reliable device software, today announced a technology alliance to integrate OIS’ communications technologies with SYSGO’s portfolio of operating systems. Both companies bring field-proven track records and leadership in the military/aerospace market as they work together to enable high-performance, secure and safe foundations for mission-critical systems.

Product integration between SYSGO’s real-time operating systems (RTOS) and OIS’ communications middleware for high-performance applications is the biggest draw for makers of communication systems, radar and sonar systems, avionics systems and other security- and performance-critical applications.

“With a well-deserved reputation for excellence, SYSGO offers a product portfolio that is in high demand by our customers. SYSGO operating systems have been used to build integrated modular avionics systems, missile guidance systems and a host of other applications for which real-time performance and high assurance are essential,” said Mr. Joe Jacob, Senior Vice President, Objective Interface Systems. “With a synergistic focus on technical excellence and customer support, our companies are working together to deliver seamlessly integrated products that meet the performance, security and safety requirements of even the most demanding embedded systems.”

“Communications in embedded systems are complex. With OIS’ communications middleware, this is no longer the case. It provides a portable communications infrastructure that solves the incompatibilities in data networks,” said Mr. Torsten Sehlinger, Vice President of Marketing, SYSGO AG. “SYSGO developers will soon be able to use the complete range of OIS’ high-performance, small-footprint communications middleware with SYSGO operating environments. This will allow our customers to establish communications among diverse systems, even the most mission-critical—without having to make modifications at the code level.”
