HERNDON, VA and STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - January 30, 2006 - The steady proliferation of networked embedded systems has created demand for increased performance of these systems. In addition, Objective Interface addressed the next-generation Internet Protocol (IP) standard, IPv6, a standard that the Department of Defense (DoD) has mandated for implementation by 2008. Objective Interface's portfolio of communications middleware products will support Interpeak's IPv6 solutions, allowing engineers to create high-performance, IPv6-compliant embedded systems on a network.

Objective Interface has collaborated with Interpeak on software optimizations that enhance the performance of networked embedded applications, such as Software Defined Radio (SDR) and cellular base stations.
