What is ORBexpress™?
  ORBexpress is Objective Interface's premier Object Request Broker (ORB) designed for embedded, real-time, and high performance applications. Designed by acknowledged experts in real-time and object-oriented design, ORBexpress has been recognized for its small memory footprint and performance capabilities. How much does ORBexpress cost?
  ORBexpress is licensed by named developer with no charge for run-times. Volume pricing is available and each development license includes support and software maintenance upgrades or releases for the first full year. What types of Technical Support and Professional Services does Objective Interface offer?
  We understand the importance of both Technical Support and Professional Services and provide a variety of choices to fit your technical needs. Is Objective Interface involved with the Object Management Group?
  We are very active participants in the OMG, particularly in the Real-Time Special Interest Group, which focuses on standardizing CORBA for real-time and embedded developers. We co-authored the Real-Time CORBA 1.0 and Fault Tolerant CORBA standards, and continue to be actively involved with the latest standardization efforts such as Replaceable Transports, Dynamic Scheduling, Real-Time Notification Service, and Unreliable Multicast. We also sponsor OMG workshops, chair technical committees, and respond to many RFPs to advance the OMG standardization work. What is the ORBalliance Partner Program and how can I get involved?

These pages provide a wealth of information about the Object Management Group (OMG), recommended reading, newsgroups to be involved in, general links and a glossary focused on CORBA, embedded, and real-time development. This is an excellent resource for introductory and advanced information about distributed computing, CORBA, real-time and embedded topics.
 
What type of software maintenance program does Objective Interface offer?
  When purchasing ORBexpress, you are entitled to one full year of product updates and upgrades ensuring you will be using the latest product version. Prior to, or upon the expiration of the initial maintenance period, you may purchase an additional maintenance package through Objective Interface's Production Department. Can Objective Interface help me develop customized communication protocols?
  Objective Interface carefully documents our open API for replaceable transports and we provide examples to get you off to a good start. We can also provide a training course (public or private) on Building Replaceable Transports. If you would prefer to have us do the work, our Technical Support and Professional Services will be happy to help you out.
